Summary: Seeking Field Crane Technicians with expertise in mobile crane mechanics and heavy equipment repair for service in eastern Iowa.

Job Requirements:

  • Current Federal Medical Examination Card
  • Experience with mobile hydraulic cranes or heavy equipment diesel mechanics
  • Knowledge of basic hydraulics and 12-volt electrical systems
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Technical college degree or structured on-the-job training program preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in field service of heavy equipment

Preferred Skills:

  • Mechanical design or practical experience in hydraulics, structural, or mechanical layout
  • Ability to operate saws, plasma cutters, and oxygen/acetylene torches

Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues based on customer feedback
  • Repair various types of heavy equipment onsite and in the field
  • Initiate parts ordering and complete required paperwork
  • Ensure correct function, check for leaks, test pressures, and record results
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding job issues
  • Direct customer interaction for service delivery


Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
