R&D Engineer
Summary: Seeking an R&D Engineer to design, maintain, and improve products and processes with a focus on magnet wire enameling fluid dynamics and copper/aluminum metallurgy for electric vehicle applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, preferably metallurgy, mechanical or chemical disciplines
- Three years of product/process engineering experience
- Knowledge of magnet wire products and applications preferred
- Expertise in fluid mechanics and metallurgy
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with production equipment and lab equipment
- Familiarity with project planning and management, automotive product development practices (APQP)
Responsibilities:
- Design, model, and test prototypes for product/process development or improvement
- Conduct research and create design proposals for projects
- Establish design briefs, concepts, performance criteria; select materials needed for production
- Produce final design specifications; support concept sample production for demonstration
- Utilize computational analysis for theoretical design conception, demonstration, verification
Pay Details: $90.00 to $95.00 per hour
