Fanuc Control Specialist
Experienced CNC machinery specialist focused on Fanuc and Heidenhain controls supporting Hurco and Takumi product lines, with extensive travel in year one and reduced travel thereafter.
Requirements
3+ years Fanuc and/or Heidenhain control and PLC experience.
3–5 years machine service experience.
Full-cycle support background: technical assistance, customer query resolution, hardware/software troubleshooting.
Proven ability to identify and develop action plans for repetitive product problems.
Ability to reliably identify replacement part numbers across entire product line.
Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
Travel up to 75% in year one; 15–25% thereafter; mostly domestic; home on weekends.
Based in or able to relocate to the Indianapolis area.
Preferred Skills
Experience training distributors and field service engineers on new products and technologies.
Experience compiling and distributing standard instructions, start-up/demo guides, maintenance procedures, diagnostic routines, and service bulletin content.
Background creating visual training materials, training aids, and simulation equipment.
Responsibilities
Provide subject-matter expertise on Fanuc/Heidenhain-controlled Hurco and Takumi equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues; resolve customer service tickets.
Travel to customer facilities to assist Field Service with diagnosis and repair as required.
Identify replacement parts; expedite and follow up on orders, including pulling parts from machinery for emergent repairs.
Compile, interpret, and distribute installation/repair documentation, maintenance procedures, problem-diagnosis guides, and service bulletins.
Develop and deliver Technical Service Training Programs for field service engineers, distributors, and customers, including creation of visual materials and simulations.
Identify recurring product problems and implement corrective action plans.
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
