Summary: Seeking a CNC Machinist specializing in turning operations with experience in setup, operation, and quality control on CNC machines.

Requirements:

  • Work 10-hour shifts plus potential 6 hours overtime Saturday.
  • Experience with tight tolerances at thousandths / GD&T / Blueprints.
  • Hands-on setup experience; ability to explain processes.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc or Doosan controls.
  • Experience with Mori-Seiki or Doosan Turning machines.
  • Ability to discuss metals previously worked with.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize blueprints, work orders, specs, drawings, and machine parameters for machining tasks.
  • Setup and operate CNC turning machines; conduct quality control on parts.
  • Use shim blocks, wedges for setups on irregular shaped parts.
  • Maintain specifications through various machining operations; troubleshoot and adjust as necessary.
  • Operate short runs of 40-200 pieces and perform slotting, forming, grooving on various materials.
  • Complete production and quality logs.


Pay Details: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
