Summary: Seeking an Engineering Manager with expertise in livestock trailer design and management to lead product line engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineer with Professional Engineer (PE) certification or willingness to obtain
  • Experience leading engineers and drafters
  • Expertise in structural steel or aluminum, off-road truck, automotive, agricultural, or military vehicle design
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, axels, and vehicle weight distribution
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience overseeing large drafting teams

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage personnel and processes within product line engineering departments
  • Develop cost-effective and safe designs that meet industry standards
  • Collaborate with sales on new design inquiries and feasibility assessments
  • Support manufacturing by ensuring designs are easy to build
  • Maintain conformance to engineering standards and protect proprietary information
  • Handle product line design warranty costs and provide assistance to the warranty department
  • Oversee contract services such as prototype testing


Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $142,000.00 per year
