Summary: Seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee and optimize plant operations in a non-union metal distribution facility.

  • Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years supervisory experience
    • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
    • Background, physical, and drug screen required before starting work

  • Preferred Skills:

    • College education preferred
    • SAP computer experience preferred

  • Responsibilities:

    • Direct efficient function of plant operations including production equipment, shipping, receiving, and inventory
    • Understand production goals; implement actions to meet objectives
    • Supervise filling of time-sensitive orders; coordinate shipments ensuring on-time deliveries
    • Provide leadership; coach and counsel employees; facilitate problem-solving activities
    • Ensure training is effectively carried out; oversee completion of the training checklist
    • Communicate with other departments within the facility and other locations
    • Advise on decisions regarding suitability of material and processing capabilities
    • Provide direction in safe work practices; support safety goals; review unsafe conditions


Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
