Bi-Lingual Operations Manager

Summary: Seeking a Bi-Lingual Operations Manager fluent in Spanish with experience in metal/steel management to lead and manage front-line supervisors in daily operations.

• Requirements:

  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Experience managing people
  • Metal/Steel experience

• Preferred Skills:

  • College degree or High School Diploma with 5+ years in manufacturing, preferably metal processing/distribution
  • Knowledge of ISO policies and procedures (ISO 9001:2008)
  • SAP experience
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel)
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5S, LEAN, Six Sigma)

• Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of front-line supervisors for day-to-day operations
  • Ensure safety-first culture and compliance with OSHA standards
  • Manage staffing, supply, and equipment needs based on forecasted volume
  • Mentor and develop talent performance initiatives
  • Identify and drive continuous process improvement opportunities
  • Oversee machine and building maintenance for preventative programs to minimize downtime

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
