Summary: Seeking a CMM Programmer with expertise in Calypso software for developing and modifying inspection processes in aerospace machining.

Requirements:

  • Experience with CMM programming using Calypso software
  • Proficiency with Zeiss Machine and a variety of inspection equipment
  • Background from aerospace machining shop

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and computerized inspection equipment
  • Ability to develop, document, and utilize alternative inspection techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and modifies inspection processes for raw materials and secondary operations
  • Inspects high value, complex parts using mechanical and computerized equipment
  • Utilizes statistical techniques to improve process capabilities
  • Writes and updates incoming inspection methods
  • Collaborates with engineers to set up inspection instructions for new parts
  • Determines disposition of rejected materials and communicates supplier quality issues


Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
