Director of Manufacturing
Summary: Seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead aerospace manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and manage production teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing, including managing staff.
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like LEAN and Six Sigma.
Familiarity with assembly, welding, brazing, machining processes.
Experience in build-to-order manufacturing management in medium volume/high-mix environments, preferably aerospace or military industries.
Proficiency in MRP systems, preferably Oracle.
Fluency in Spanish preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and manage short-term and long-term activities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
Support business goals related to product cost, quality, schedule adherence, and delivery.
Develop standard processes for manufacturing heat exchangers using standard work formats.
Design tooling and fixtures for production processes.
Drive continuous improvements using process improvement methodologies like LEAN and Six Sigma.
Monitor performance standards for product quality; recommend process improvements.
Oversee Operational Excellence plans and coordinate projects at a tactical level.
Provide technical support regarding process improvements and non-conforming parts.
Pay: 180k-200k

Pay Details: $180,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
