Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager with aerospace machining expertise to oversee shop floor operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Requirements:

  • Aerospace machining background.

  • Experience in manufacturing aerospace environment (minimum 10+ years).

  • Knowledge of FAA regulations (14CFR Part 21 and 14 CFR Part 145).

  • Experience managing a team of direct reports.

  • Proficiency in MRP systems, preferably Oracle.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

• Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with assembly, welding, brazing, machining, and testing processes.

  • Speaking Spanish is a plus.

• Responsibilities:

  • Support production and machining requirements for new product development.

  • Ensure continued certification to AS9100 Rev. C and ISO9001:2008 standards.

  • Provide quality coaching to staff and management team.

  • Manage Cost of Non-Conformances (Scrap/Warranty).

  • Perform contract reviews for customers/products.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams for Operational Excellence Initiatives.

Pay: 70000-80000
