Continuous Improvement Specialist role leading Kaizen events and Lean process optimization within engineering and certification functions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or similar continuous improvement certification

  • Experience with continuous improvement, Lean principles, or process optimization in an office or administrative setting

  • Experience using CI tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Causal Analysis, 5 Whys, PDCA, SIPOC, etc.

  • Experience facilitating training sessions or workshops related to process or performance improvement

  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management tools such as Enovia

  • Demonstrated success leading process improvement projects with measurable results

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience driving improvements within engineering or certification functions

  • Experience developing standardized work procedures, templates, and documentation

  • Experience creating and maintaining performance dashboards and KPI reports

  • Experience presenting project outcomes and improvement results to leadership

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and improvement projects within engineering and certification functions

  • Conduct root cause analyses to identify inefficiencies, waste, and improvement opportunities

  • Develop and implement standardized work procedures, templates, and documentation to ensure consistent performance

  • Monitor and validate the effectiveness of implemented changes and ensure sustainability of improvements

  • Coach teams on structured problem-solving techniques and support implementation of improvement ideas

  • Collect and analyze performance metrics to measure improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and workflow performance

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing project outcomes, cost savings, and KPIs

  • Communicate progress, challenges, and results of Kaizen and CI activities to management and key stakeholders



Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
