Facilities Technician role responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, equipment, and safety infrastructure.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar maintenance role

  • Knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic carpentry

  • Proficiency using maintenance tools, hand tools, and power tools

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical certification or vocational training in a maintenance-related field (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing)

  • Experience performing preventive maintenance programs for commercial or industrial facilities

  • Familiarity with facility maintenance software or CMMS

  • Experience working with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs

  • Conduct repairs and troubleshooting on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems

  • Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to minimize disruption to operations

  • Maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and appliances within the facility

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure longevity and efficiency of building systems

  • Coordinate and collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance or repair work

  • Conduct regular inspections of safety systems such as fire alarms, sprinklers, and emergency lighting to ensure compliance with regulations

  • Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment and initiate purchase requests as needed



Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
