Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer – Leads design, development, and verification of embedded electromechanical hardware for regulated products.

Job Requirements:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related engineering discipline.

  • 6–8 years of experience in electromechanical hardware development.

  • Demonstrated experience designing embedded microcontroller-based electronic devices.

  • Experience with FPGA-based designs, including digital and analog circuit design.

  • Experience testing electronic devices to meet EMC immunity and emissions requirements.

  • Proficiency with CAD tools for PCB schematic capture and layout (Altium Designer preferred).

  • Experience with data acquisition software such as LabVIEW.

  • Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., IEC 60601, IEC 61010, UL, ANSI, ASTM).

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in the infusion pump domain.

  • Hardware development experience for medical devices or other highly regulated products (e.g., military hardware).

  • Specific experience in design and development of sensing subsystems.

  • Experience contributing to system-level electronic architectures and design documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define electronic hardware design requirements and specifications based on customer and user requirements.

  • Develop and document electronic system architectures for embedded products.

  • Design, implement, and review embedded microcontroller-based hardware, including FPGA, digital, and analog circuitry.

  • Perform and support testing of electronic devices for EMC immunity, emissions, and regulatory compliance.

  • Create and maintain PCB schematics and layouts using Altium Designer or equivalent CAD tools.

  • Develop and execute test setups using LabVIEW or similar data acquisition environments.

  • Support development and validation of sensing subsystems within the overall product architecture.

  • Ensure designs align with applicable regulatory and industry standards (IEC, UL, ANSI, ASTM).

Pay: 40-45

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
