Machinist
Senior CNC Machinist responsible for complex set-ups, operation, troubleshooting, and multi-machine running to produce precision parts to quality and ISO standards.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

5–10 years of CNC experience in a manufacturing environment.

Full understanding of set-up and operation of at least two machining fields (e.g., mills, chucker lathes, Swiss lathes, grinders, wire EDMs).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Knowledge of GD&T.

Complete knowledge of G and M codes.

Ability to run multiple machines and manage several set-ups simultaneously.

Ability to perform tooling maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC programs and equipment.
Preferred Skills
-
CNC programming experience with ability to edit programs.

Experience operating CMM equipment.

Experience with both metallic and nonmetallic materials.

Familiarity with ISO and quality system requirements for machining operations.

Experience training other machinists or operators on set-ups and machine operations.
Job Responsibilities
-
Perform simple to complex set-ups and operation of conventional, special-purpose, and CNC machines and machining centers.

Fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts and fit/assemble machined parts into complete units using machine shop theory, shop math, material machinability, and layout techniques.

Set up and operate machines on trial runs to verify accuracy of machine settings and programmed control data.

Run multiple machines and manage several set-ups concurrently to meet production requirements.

Troubleshoot CNC programs and machine issues to maintain part quality and throughput.

Perform tooling maintenance, including tool changes and adjustments.

Ensure all required processes are completed to produce parts that meet quality and ISO standards.

Operate CMM as required to verify part dimensions and features.
Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
