Manufacturing Quality Technician I
Quality Technician responsible for inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure manufacturing processes and products meet defined quality standards.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar quality role within a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and inspection techniques

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production equipment
-
Proficiency in using measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment
-
Understanding of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
Preferred Skills

Additional technical certifications or relevant formal education in quality, manufacturing, or a technical field

Experience conducting process audits and reporting findings

Experience generating and maintaining quality-related documentation (inspection logs, non-conformance reports, corrective action reports)

Experience with calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of inspection and test equipment

Experience working with quality metrics and reporting tools
Job Responsibilities

Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on raw materials, components, and finished products

Utilize appropriate tools, instruments, and equipment to conduct quality inspections and tests

Document inspection and test results accurately and maintain detailed records
-
Identify and document deviations, defects, and non-conformities during the production process

Analyze and troubleshoot quality issues to determine root causes and support corrective and preventive actions

Collaborate with quality and production staff to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions
-
Monitor critical process parameters and verify compliance with quality standards
-
Participate in process audits and provide recommendations for process improvements
-
Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
-
Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
-
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment used in quality testing
-
Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing inspection findings, test results, and quality metrics

Generate and maintain quality-related documentation, including inspection logs, non-conformance reports, and corrective action reports

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company quality policies
-
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and projects, identifying opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction
Pay Details: $13.00 to $16.00 per hour
