Quality Process Improvement Specialist
Summary: Seeking a Quality Process Improvement Specialist to lead and support advanced quality processes and improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials, supply chain, management, business or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of experience in manufacturing/assembly operations, quality, engineering (design or manufacturing), and materials/procurement; preferably in aerospace electronics.
- Certified Green Belt or equivalent; Lean Expert or Black Belt preferred.
- Experience with Automotive or Aerospace products preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with quality assurance processes including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action, Lean Six Sigma projects, 5S, 3P, FMEA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and remote support at customer sites.
- Coordinate with customers to determine schedule and requirements for projects.
- Lead root-cause-analysis activities using Quality principles and techniques.
- Conduct follow-up audits to review effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Collect and use statistical data for monitoring trends.
- Maintain and update QMS documents as needed.
- Provide training in First-Article Inspection, Six Sigma techniques, Manufacturing Process Control.
Pay Details: $34.00 to $44.00 per hour
