SIL Engineering Technician

Summary: Seeking an SIL Engineering Technician skilled in fabricating interconnecting cables and performing troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of test bench and lab infrastructure equipment.

• Requirements:

  • Ability to crimp and assemble connector contacts to aircraft standards
  • Proficient in soldering to the J-STD
  • Read and understand aircraft level wiring diagrams
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings for metal fabrication
  • Familiar with test equipment use, troubleshooting, and repair of wiring
  • Experience with serial data interfaces including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RS422, RS232, Ethernet, IEEE-488
  • Experience installing fiberoptic cabling for reflective memory hardware
  • Safe use of hand tools and shop equipment

• Preferred Skills:

  • Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
  • Military experience in related aircraft/systems maintenance is a plus

• Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate interconnecting cables based on engineering drawings
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of test bench equipment

Pay Details: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour
