Mechanical Enginer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in mechanical and structural design for wind tunnel and hypersonic ground test projects.

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

• Over 7 years of experience in Design Engineering or Systems Engineering

• Proficiency in design and analysis of welded steel structures

• Experience with fluid packages or process equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, cooling systems)

• Preferred proficiency in CAD - Solidworks and FEA - Ansys

• General knowledge of fabrication techniques including forming, welding, machining, additive manufacturing

• Ability to travel up to 20%, including internationally

Responsibilities:

• Conduct mechanical and structural design and analysis for wind tunnel facilities

• Design and validate equipment and components for wind tunnel facilities

Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
