Machine Operator

Summary: Seeking a Machine Operator to manage production machinery, ensure product quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience operating production machinery preferred
• Ability to comprehend, speak, write, and read English
• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and calipers
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to interpret and work from established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery while monitoring quality and performance
• Adjust machines using hand tools to maintain product quality and speed
• Complete paperwork and data entry per ISO or department procedures
• Review job specifications for customer requirements
• Communicate issues related to quality, production, or maintenance to team leads
• Initiate corrective actions for machinery operations as needed
• Convey shift carry-over information during transitions
• Perform routine operator maintenance of machinery
• Operate and set up specialized finishing equipment per job specifications
• Support the plant-wide continuous improvement program through audits and action items

Pay Details: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
