Machine Operator
Summary: Seeking a Machine Operator to manage production machinery, ensure product quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating production machinery preferred
- Ability to comprehend, speak, write, and read English
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and calipers
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to interpret and work from established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery while monitoring quality and performance
- Adjust machines using hand tools to maintain product quality and speed
- Complete paperwork and data entry per ISO or department procedures
- Review job specifications for customer requirements
- Communicate issues related to quality, production, or maintenance to team leads
- Initiate corrective actions for machinery operations as needed
- Convey shift carry-over information during transitions
- Perform routine operator maintenance of machinery
- Operate and set up specialized finishing equipment per job specifications
- Support the plant-wide continuous improvement program through audits and action items
Pay Details: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
