Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in military ground vehicle wiring harness and cabling design for technical decision-making and project management.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with BS or 1 year with MS

  • Proven experience in military ground vehicle wiring harness and cabling design

  • Proficiency with electrical/electronic systems of military ground vehicles

  • Knowledge of Visio Technical, Creo, or equivalent design software

  • Expertise in low-voltage power distribution and management

  • Experience with vehicle signal management and Smart Display Units

  • Familiarity with military electrical connectors and specifications

  • Understanding of SAE J1939 CAN bus, MIL-STD-1553, and Ethernet protocols

  • Integration experience with military communication/antenna systems

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience creating complete wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs

  • Experience with configuration management systems and formal change control

  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC considerations for military platforms

  • Experience coordinating with mechanical teams for routing, packaging, and strain relief

Responsibilities

  • Make technical decisions impacting project scope, schedule, and completion

  • Specify and design components based on system and customer requirements

  • Prepare engineering documentation and complete data packages (schematics, harness drawings, interconnects)

  • Develop cost estimates and schedules for electrical work packages

  • Issue Change Notices and Engineering Change Proposals as needed

  • Monitor procurement and manufacturing to meet build schedules and quality targets

  • Guide drafters/designers in document creation and revision control

  • Provide status reports to supervisors, engineers, and customers



Pay Details: $32.00 to $46.00 per hour
