Summary: Seeking a Deputy Chief Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversight for systems design, integration, and implementation in complex IT environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of engineering leadership experience in complex IT environments
  • Experience with federal or enterprise-level IT programs across multiple disciplines
  • Familiarity with government security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, FedRAMP)
  • Certifications such as AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP, ITIL, PMP, or SAFe

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DevSecOps, infrastructure as code (IaC), automation
  • Deep understanding of enterprise systems engineering practices
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as senior technical authority for systems design and implementation activities
  • Ensure alignment with customer's architecture and operational requirements
  • Lead modernization initiatives including cloud adoption and zero-trust architecture
  • Collaborate to define technical strategy and support decision-making
  • Drive consistency across networking, cloud, application development domains


Pay Details: $70.00 to $80.00 per hour
