Electrical Life Safety Systems – (Security) Systems Designer Autocad

Summary: Seeking a Life Safety Systems Designer with expertise in AutoCAD and Revit for the design and drafting of advanced security systems.

• High school graduate or equivalent

• 3-5 years' experience with AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred

• Systems design experience with Security Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion detection systems

• NICET Security certification required

• ASIS International Advanced Security Worldwide certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform computer-aided drafting and design of Life Safety and Security Systems

• Coordinate 3D model space creation with architects and engineers using AutoCAD and Revit MEP

• Design Security Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion detection systems from 3D BIM models

• Conduct calculations and apply NFPA, ICC codes, and other standards to model content

Pay Details: $36.00 to $42.00 per hour
