Structures Engineer II
Summary: Seeking a Structures Engineer II for designing and analyzing components and systems in combat vehicles, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2 to 6 years of engineering work experience
Proficiency in CAD tools such as PTC Creo or SolidWorks
Experience with FEA and GD&T
Ability to perform tolerance analysis, trade studies, and root-cause corrective actions
Knowledge of military standards and good manufacturing practices
Responsibilities:
Design interface components for product integration
Investigate design issues and develop change documentation
Collaborate with engineers across various disciplines to resolve complex issues
Prepare presentations and documentation for production non-compliance issues
Analyze design specifications and test results for compliance
Create CAD models ensuring producibility
Design welded and bolted joints using FEA tools
Provide project input for plans, schedules, budgets
Prepare technical reports and presentations
Troubleshoot testing issues with components
Work with suppliers to improve cost and quality
Pay Details: $33.00 to $25.00 per hour
