Mechanical Designer

Summary: Seeking experienced Mechanical Designers to develop and automate mechanical systems and components for assembly and test equipment.

• Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in mechanical design
  • Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes including assembly, machining, welding
  • Ability to take projects from concept to manufacturing
  • Knowledge of prototype and testing of 3D models
  • Experience with documentation including BOM and design changes
  • Automation experience preferred

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with continuous improvement processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Organizational skills

• Responsibilities:

  • Design automation and tooling using engineering standards and practices
  • Specify and organize information submitted by managers

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
