Summary: Seeking an Inspector A with expertise in inspecting machined parts, interpreting specifications, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Two years related inspection experience or ability to perform responsibilities

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

  • Proficiency in using and calibrating mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical instruments/gages

  • Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics

  • Knowledge of applicable military standards may be required

  • Personal hand tools may be required

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records as per specifications

  • Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection/calibration of parts

  • Identify defective conditions/test failures; prepare documentation/calibration history

  • Perform inspections using various measuring/test equipment for part acceptability

  • Interpret specifications, charts, manuals; use mathematics for blueprint conversions

  • Work within guidelines of technical documents and standards

  • Conduct audits on assembly, test, machining functions for compliance



Pay Details: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
