Mechanical Designer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Designer experienced in large-scale component design and structural analysis using 3D CAD software.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design and structural analysis
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor
• Experience with finite element analysis and 3D design
• Familiarity with snow and wind structural analyses
• US Citizenship

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of modular substation designs

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and design large-scale components using 3D CAD software
• Create and update 2D drawings based on manufacturing feedback
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to ensure accurate, functional designs
• Support Utility Industrial and Renewables divisions, focusing on older mining product designs

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
