Civil/Structural Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to design and analyze structures for power plant projects, focusing on commercial nuclear facilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, materials science, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in engineering programs like Mathcad or Matlab.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis software or techniques.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong technical writing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze concrete and steel structures, heavy load components, and equipment supports.
- Conduct conceptual studies, design calculations, specification development, and seismic analysis.
- Develop analytical models using FEA techniques.
- Assist in creating design and construction drawings.
- Coordinate designs across multiple disciplines and resolve design issues on-site.
Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
