CNC Machinist 2nd shift
Summary: Seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for 2nd shift to operate and set up machines producing aerospace parts.
Requirements:
- Ability to identify, load, and secure fixtures with minimal assistance.
- Working knowledge of G and M codes for setting offsets and interacting with CNC programs.
- Proficiency in shop math including tool geometry and basic geometry.
- Ability to read basic prints and apply dimensional specifications in inspection processes.
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2-4 years of machining experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Evidence of success in level one machining duties for at least one year prior.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Lathe CNC machine cells and standalone machines independently.
- Perform basic machine setup including preparing fixtures and cutting tools.
- Load and adjust CNC programs and offsets as required.
- Use advanced quality inspection tools to verify parts meet customer specifications.
Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
