Summary: Seeking a Senior Software Test Systems Engineer to lead software development and database management for automated manufacturing test systems in the automotive industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or data science

  • 7+ years of experience in software design, development, and database administration

  • Expert knowledge of SQL, NI TestStand, LabView, electromechanical devices, and data acquisition systems

  • Advanced knowledge of electrical architecture for manufacturing test systems

  • Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity governance and .NET programming languages (VB.NET and C#)

  • Proficiency with GPTs, ML, neural networks, and source code control systems (BitBucket, Git, SVN)

  • Understanding of SAE J1939 protocol

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of software development lifecycle and database objectives for proprietary test systems

  • Develop software solutions for automation in product manufacturing and laboratory testing

  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and internal best practices

  • Manage all aspects of database administration including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, migration, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup, and recovery

  • Contribute to enterprise database system enhancements to meet business requirements

  • Lead system architecture design and security reviews

  • Develop enterprise-level data reporting and management solutions

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for internal and customer-focused requirements

  • Create system and subsystem software documentation



Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
