FAA Quality Inspector
Summary: Seeking a Quality Inspector with expertise in complex measurements and inspection processes for ensuring material conformance.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Strong math skills
- Knowledge of assembly drawings, parts lists, revisions, workmanship standards, standard inspection procedures, work instructions, and wiring diagrams
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Quality Technician (CRT) certificate or other recognized certifications
- Experience with General Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and CMM
- Blueprint reading and GD&T classes recommended
Responsibilities:
- Confirm information on accompanying paperwork
- Set up and perform complex measurements to verify material parameters
- Inspect parts for conformance with various standards
- Perform visual inspections of components for defects
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and purchasing requirements
- Report non-conforming material using Quality Notification process
- Provide measurement results to aid in disposition of discrepant material
- Maintain accurate files, records, and logs
- Support internal and customer audits
Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
