Sheetmetal Mechanic
Summary: Seeking an experienced Sheetmetal Mechanic to fabricate ventilation systems and lockers for submarines and naval projects.
Requirements:
- 5 years' experience in ventilation fabrication
- Proficiency in fabricating to MIL-STD-1688/1689, Tech Pub 248/278, and PPD documentation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Skills in cutting, forming, fitting, and tack welding light metal parts and assemblies
- Experience with various metals including stainless steel, steel, aluminum
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using modern machinery and manufacturing techniques
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate sheetmetal components for submarines and naval projects
Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
