Summary: Seeking a Quality Engineer/CMM Programmer to lead Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process, and CMM Programming efforts in plastic injection molding.

  • 5+ years experience in CMM Programming

  • Proficiency in Quality Methods like FMEA/SPC/PPAP/MSA/APQP

  • Knowledge of ISO Quality Systems, IATF16949 or AS9100 preferred

  • Background in Plastics Manufacturing

  • Understanding of GD&T

  • Willingness to train team members on CMM

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as SME for CMM, including defining layouts and writing programs

  • Manage all aspects of CMM hardware/software/programming

  • Ensure projects are within budget and on schedule

  • Conduct analysis on metrology fixtures and lead source selection activities

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product quality and audits

  • Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, and PPAP efforts

  • Coordinate between Quality and Engineering for QA requirements

  • Establish measuring/control plans to exceed customer requirements

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and maintain documents



Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
