Summary: Seeking a CNC Precision Grinder for night shift to set up and operate grinding machines for precision machining tasks.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with manual CNC grinding machines
  • Proficient in precision ID, OD, form, and surface grinding
  • Skilled in plunge, traverse, and form grinding
  • Experience with soft and hard metals including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, hardened tool steel, tungsten
  • Knowledge of diamond and abrasive grinding wheels
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and layouts
  • Proficient in using measuring instruments like micrometers and bore gages
  • Understanding of shop math including trigonometry and geometry

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with dressing abrasive wheels and recognizing wheel wear

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate manual and CNC grinding machines for precision machining tasks
  • Study blueprints or layouts to plan the sequence of operations


Pay Details: $32.00 to $36.00 per hour
