Summary: Seeking a Controller responsible for managing all financial aspects of business, supporting financial strategy development, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

  • Proficient in MS Office and financial management software (e.g., Deltek/Costpoint)

  • CPA or relevant qualification is a plus

  • Experience with DCAA/FAR Cost Principals

  • Proven experience as director of finance or similar role

  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices

  • Knowledge of legislation on employment standards, occupational health and safety, human rights

  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting

Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP

  • Implement compliance with internal financial policies and DoD's audit standards

  • Oversee preparation for DCAA audits; liaise with external auditors

  • Review monthly cost; implement variance reporting

  • Provide timely project financial activity reporting to leadership

  • Develop systems for cash management, accounts payable/receivable, credit control

  • Conduct cost estimating and proposal development per FAR Part 15

  • Perform financial analysis for technology transition planning

  • Ensure secure storage of personnel/financial information per legislation

  • Manage cash flow forecasts; prepare detailed financial reports

  • Establish budget guidelines; consult on annual budget preparation

  • Ensure complete supporting information for transactions is maintained

  • Manage acquisition/amortization/disposal of capital assets

  • Evaluate need for new technology for data processing/control/reporting

  • Monitor risk management policies to minimize organizational risks

  • Negotiate lines of credit or other services as required



Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year
