Director (Solid Waste)

Summary: Seeking a Director specialized in solid waste management to lead engineering design, client relations, and project oversight.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required

• P.E. or P.G. registration required (preferably Florida) or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months

• 12 years of relevant experience in the solid waste industry

• 2 years of consulting experience required

• Experience managing project financials and leading technical teams

• Knowledge of applicable regulations and permitting requirements

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Responsibilities:

• Lead interactions with clients and develop junior staff

• Oversee design and permitting teams as Engineer of Record on projects

• Focus on solid waste management including landfill gas, landfills, composting, and transfer stations

• Manage engineering design, client communications, project management, and staff coordination

Pay Details: $125,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year
