Responsible for assembling and verifying electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, and wiring according to detailed specifications and standards.


Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum of six months of electronic assembly experience

  • Ability to read and interpret process sheets, prints, and route cards

  • Proficient with hand tools such as cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and preformers

  • Ability to identify and correctly orient electronic components based on polarity

  • Skilled in using measurement tools including scales, micrometers, and calipers

  • Training or certification in IPC J-STD 001 and IPC 610 required or must be obtained


Preferred Skills:

  • Active or obtainable security clearance

  • Experience with soldering, circuit card assembly, and component prep

  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Control Specifications (MCS)

  • Knowledge of wiring harness fabrication and lacing techniques


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and modules from samples, diagrams, and process sheets

  • Perform mechanical and electronic assembly using appropriate tools and methods

  • Verify completed assemblies against specifications and perform rework as needed

  • Fabricate wires on harness boards and perform proper routing, dressing, and termination

  • Pre-stage circuit card kits and form components with machine and hand tools

  • Conduct masking operations prior to soldering or coating of CCAs

  • Clean circuit boards in accordance with specifications and standards



Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
