Soldering Technician

Summary: Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Soldering Technician with expertise in surface mount and through-hole soldering techniques for PCB assembly rework and inspection.

• Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in soldering and PCB rework
  • Proficient with SMT and through-hole soldering techniques
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards

• Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001
  • Experience working with microscopes and ESD-safe workstations

• Responsibilities:

  • Perform hand soldering and rework on PCB assemblies
  • Utilize tools to remove, replace, and touch up components
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Conduct visual inspections to verify workmanship to IPC standards
  • Identify and correct soldering defects
  • Document all repairs and rework performed

Pay Details: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour
