Summary: Seeking a Quality Engineer/CMM Programmer to lead advanced product quality planning and CMM programming efforts in a plastic injection molding environment.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience
  • Strong CMM Programming, preferably with CMM Manager
  • Knowledge of quality methods (FMEA/SPC/PPAP/MSA/APQP)
  • Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems, IATF16949 or AS9100 desired
  • Understanding of GD&T
  • Willingness to train team members on CMM

Preferred Skills:

  • Plastics manufacturing background
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as SME for CMM, including defining layouts, setting up fixtures, writing programs, troubleshooting, and training
  • Manage all aspects of CMM hardware/software/programming
  • Ensure projects adhere to budget and schedule
  • Conduct analysis on metrology fixtures and lead source selection activities
  • Address customer inquiries regarding product quality and audits
  • Act as POC for all CMM procurement and service
  • Lead APQP, FMEA, PPAP initiatives
  • Coordinate early QA requirements with engineering
  • Establish control plans to prevent failures and exceed customer expectations
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain documentation
  • Implement continuous improvement activities


Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
