Summary: Seeking a SATCOM Systems Engineer to configure, integrate, and troubleshoot satellite communication systems for reliable network applications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - Telecommunications or related field or 5+ years military experience in satellite communications

  • 5+ years of experience with modem configuration, troubleshooting, installation, antennas, routers, switches, and SATCOM equipment

  • Strong knowledge of GEO, MEO, LEO satellite architectures and network operations

  • Proficiency in mechanically and electronically steered antennas for COTM and fixed-site applications

  • Experience in aero and ground mobile satellite communication installations

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, integrate, troubleshoot satellite modems for network applications

  • Design and optimize satellite communication links across various constellations

  • Design and configure network topologies for reliable data transmission over satellites

  • Configure routers, switches; install updates to modems/antenna terminals

  • Implement network updates/patches to maintain system functionality

  • Support ground station/terminal integration for multi-orbit operations



Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
