Summary: Seeking an Accountant to manage financial statements, compliance, and reporting for defense contracts.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software (e.g., Deltek/Costpoint)
  • Proven experience with DCAA/FAR Cost Principles
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles

Preferred Skills:

  • CPA or relevant qualification
  • Experience as director of finance or similar role
  • Knowledge of legislation on employment standards, occupational health and safety, and human rights

Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and DoD's Defense Contract Audit Agency Cost Accounting Standards
  • Oversee annual DCAA audit preparations
  • Implement monthly variance reporting
  • Provide monthly financial activity reports for projects
  • Manage cash flow forecasts and prepare detailed financial reports


Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year
