Software Engineer
Summary: Seeking an experienced Software Engineer to architect, develop, and support embedded product software with a focus on real-time systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field
Minimum of 6 years of work experience
Real-time embedded software development experience with Linux and/or VxWorks
Experience with MATLAB and Simulink auto code wrapping
Proficiency in multithreaded applications and synchronization tools
Application development using communication protocols like Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, MIL-STD-1553
Requirements-based software implementation and verification experience with DOORs
Linux kernel and device driver development expertise
Familiarity with Time Sensitive Networks (TSN) and performance optimization
FPGA programming knowledge
Willingness to learn Ada programming language
Preferred Skills:
Experience with MagicDraw and LabView
CI/CD tools proficiency such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket
Advanced use of version control tools (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Familiarity with CMMI for development processes
Responsibilities:
Architecting, designing, developing, maintaining embedded product software
Mentoring less-experienced engineers
Collaborating across engineering disciplines
Ensuring technical consistency with established principles
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
