Summary: Seeking an experienced Software Engineer to architect, develop, and support embedded product software with a focus on real-time systems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field

  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience

  • Real-time embedded software development experience with Linux and/or VxWorks

  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink auto code wrapping

  • Proficiency in multithreaded applications and synchronization tools

  • Application development using communication protocols like Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, MIL-STD-1553

  • Requirements-based software implementation and verification experience with DOORs

  • Linux kernel and device driver development expertise

  • Familiarity with Time Sensitive Networks (TSN) and performance optimization

  • FPGA programming knowledge

  • Willingness to learn Ada programming language

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with MagicDraw and LabView

  • CI/CD tools proficiency such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket

  • Advanced use of version control tools (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)

  • Familiarity with CMMI for development processes

Responsibilities:

  • Architecting, designing, developing, maintaining embedded product software

  • Mentoring less-experienced engineers

  • Collaborating across engineering disciplines

  • Ensuring technical consistency with established principles



Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
