Controls Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Controls Engineer with extensive experience in automated controls systems for industrial manufacturing equipment.
10+ years of experience in automated controls systems
Proficiency in PLC logic, servo motion, and HMI development using applicable software (A-B)
Expertise in designing and testing hardwired and digital safety circuits
Ability to travel within the US (10% or less) and rarely internationally
Skilled in using 2D AutoCAD Electrical for generating control system packages
Experience with different fieldbus architectures such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, ASCII
Functional experience programming Servo and VFD drives
Familiarity with international standards (IEC, ISO, NFPA, NEC, UL, CE)
Knowledge of robotic systems (ABB & Fanuc) and vision systems for part recognition and quality inspections
Responsibilities:
Analyze customer requirements to create automated solutions
Coordinate with other departments to meet project requirements
Drive continuous improvement in job processes and build cost optimization
Provide industry-specific application knowledge to team members
Develop project requirements and design specifications
Perform detailed system design, programming, implementation, and testing of automated solutions
Pay Details: $55.00 to $63.00 per hour
