PCB (Substrate) Layout Engineer
Summary: Seeking a PCB Layout Engineer with expertise in PCB substrate design and analysis, specializing in high-density interconnects and advanced packaging techniques.
- Requirements:
- Experience using Cadence APD+ for PCB layout and High-Density Package Layout
- Strong background in PCB substrate design and analysis
- Knowledge of HDI stack-ups, including blind & buried micro-vias
- Experience with 2.5D devices, interposer or substrate design, flip-chip, surface mount techniques - Experience using a Cadence schematic/netlist driven CAD layout process

Preferred Skills:
- High-end FPGA package or board design experience
- Experience using CAM package for manufacturing data validation (CAM350 & Blueprint preferred)
- Working knowledge of JEDEC/IPC specifications

Responsibilities:
- Perform design, layout, and analysis of electrical and mechanical systems with emphasis on substrate analysis
- Design high-density interposers, substrates, and printed circuit board layouts
- Ensure designs match supplier capabilities following Design For Manufacturing rules
- Provide fabrication drawings to support technical intent transfer to suppliers
Pay Details: $65.00 to $87.00 per hour
