Summary: Seeking a Quality Inspector with expertise in mechanical parts inspection within a manufacturing environment.

  • Requirements:

    • Experience inspecting mechanical parts in manufacturing
    • Proficiency with quality inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gages, optical tools)
    • Ability to interpret blueprints, technical documents, and manuals
    • Understanding of MIL-standards and industry standards
    • Capability to generate inspection reports including FAI reports based on AS9102 standards
    • Physical ability to stand/sit for long periods and lift up to 25lbs
    • Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

  • Responsibilities:

    • Inspect incoming and outgoing materials against engineering prints
    • Document discrepancies and outcomes of inspections
    • Verify inputs from suppliers and outputs before delivery to customers
    • Inspect at-risk components for quality assurance
    • Review documentation for product conformity to customer requirements
    • Serve as Designated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR)
    • Present First Articles Inspections to Customer QAR
    • Stop processes and notify Quality Control Manager when nonconformance is detected


Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
