Summary: Seeking a Satellite Platform RF/EMC Systems Engineer to ensure electromagnetic compatibility of platform systems in RF environments.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical or aerospace engineering
    • 5+ years of experience with RF and/or EMC engineering
    • Experience with large scale system-level EMC testing
    • Experience with unit-level EMC testing per international standards

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Systems engineering background including RF, digital & analog electronic designs and wiring harnesses

  • Responsibilities:

    • Perform EMC analyses and interpret unit-level EMC test reports
    • Review communication payload RF transmitter/receiver analyses and recommend design enhancements
    • Prepare system-level EMC test plans and conduct satellite-level EMC testing
    • Support platform design activities related to grounding, shielding, and wiring harness signal segregation
    • Troubleshoot EMC-related issues on integrated satellite test setups
    • Support RF/EMC aspects of systems engineering documentation


Pay Details: $58.00 to $78.00 per hour
