Sr. Aerospace Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Sr. Aerospace Engineer with extensive experience in aircraft engineering, design, and structural integration for military and civil aviation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.
- 12+ years of experience in aerospace engineering and design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SOLIDWORKS) and finite element modeling (NASTRAN, FEMAP, ANSYS).
- Ability to travel occasionally to CONUS & OCONUS locations; Passport required.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with structural integration.
- Knowledge of FAA STC Approval process and military airworthiness process.
- Experience with composites, fracture mechanics, and government regulations (FAA).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and test instrumentation.
- Understanding of statics, dynamics, strength of materials, and stress calculations.
- Proficiency in using NASTRAN, AFGROW, and other analysis tools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and development of aerospace systems for both military and civilian platforms.
- Engage in structural integration projects ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Participate actively in the FAA STC Approval process as well as military airworthiness processes when applicable.
Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
