Summary: Seeking an Extrusion-Process Technician with experience in polymer industry, profile extrusion, and injection molding to support sample preparation and operation of extrusion and injection molding lines.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the polymer industry

  • Knowledge of profile extrusion, including line operation and die/sizer design fundamentals

  • Experience with injection molding, including machine operation and mold design

  • Familiarity with plastics testing and analysis

  • Basic computer skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare scintillator samples for light yield measurement

  • Prepare coating samples for reflectivity measurements

  • Measure samples using existing system and record data in Excel

  • Support operation of the extrusion line, assisting in running the line and QC of parts

  • Support operation of the injection molding process, assisting in running the molder and QC of parts



Pay Details: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour
