Summary: Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in RF design for avionics electronics projects.

  • Requirements:

    • BSEE degree

    • Minimum 5 years of experience with RF hardware design

    • U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Resident

    • Ability to pass a background check

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with modeling RF simulation tools

    • Expertise in wireless communications and antenna design (excluding candidates from telecommunications companies like Verizon)

    • Proficiency in RF testing and measurement techniques

    • Knowledge of PCB layout, PCBA manufacturing, component selection, and environmental qualifications

  • Responsibilities:

    • Design radio system transmitters, receivers, and exciters

    • Design, analyze, and simulate RF electronics circuits for avionics electronics

    • Understand and apply EMI/EMC principles

    • Develop requirements and test plans for electronics design

    • Perform trade studies for technical solutions, including make/buy recommendations

    • Create documentation supporting analysis, component deratings, and design reviews

    • Resolve problems encountered in testing and verification processes

    • Design for radiation tolerant environments



Pay Details: $63.00 to $84.00 per hour
