Electrical Engineer

Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer for design and development of new products, engineering test equipment, and manufacturing fixtures with strong LabVIEW and FPGA experience.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with LabVIEW including Test Engineers, developing programs, and dealing with algorithms

• Proficient in FPGA design and electronic circuit design

• Skilled in PCB layout and electronic component selection

• Experience working in a test department at board and component level

• Familiarity with product manufacturers and component assembly manufacturers

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to contribute to product development cycles

• Knowledge in designing for manufacturability and testability

• Capable of designing, developing, and testing electrical test fixtures for engineering and production use

• Experience conducting feasibility studies along with manpower and cost estimates

Responsibilities:

• Verify operation of test fixtures developed in engineering for manufacturing use

• Integrate, test, and deploy new electromechanical test systems in manufacturing settings

• Maintain, repair, upgrade computer systems within fixtures as required

• Develop and update testing/manufacturing procedures as necessary

• Install test/manufacturing fixtures at off-site vendor facilities when needed

• Utilize software such as Mentor Graphics, MATLAB alongside testing equipment like Oscilloscopes

Note: Position is initially a 3-month temp-to-perm role; candidates seeking direct hire from day one will be considered.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
