Control Panel Designer
Job Posting Summary: Seeking an Electrical CAD Designer to create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and manage components for industrial applications, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Job Requirements:
- AA degree in engineering with 2 years of job-related experience, or 4 years of job-related experience
- Experience with programmable controllers, motor controllers, electronic sensors, and instrumentation
- Ability to read P&ID drawings and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulations, including UL 508A, NFPA 70, and NFPA 79
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with control system design and implementation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical 2018 or higher
- Proficiency in EPLAN Pro Panel 2022 or higher
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform CAD work to design and develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bill of materials
- Investigate and recommend components based on application and environment while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
- Perform heating and/or cooling calculations during panel design to ensure components are used within their ratings
- Interface with the Controls Department to ensure designs and layouts are appropriate for the control system
Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
